Upper Group (4th – 6th Grade)
Parent of a Walden graduate, Jeff has been involved with the school since 2009, and is thrilled about joining Walden as an Upper Group teacher. Jeff has been teaching 4th and 5th grade in the Bay Area for the past 11 years with a background as an art teacher for middle school students and program director of an art-based summer camp and after-school program for K-5 children. Designing curriculum around writing and social studies topics is part of his passion as a teacher, as is developing a socially responsible classroom where students explore how to increase awareness of themselves and others. Outside of teaching, Jeff spends his time with his family exploring the outdoors, often by kayak.
