VISUAL ART
Ruth is excited to be joining the Walden community as the Visual Art Teacher! Ruth grew up in rural Northern California and has lived in the Bay Area for over 20 years. Outside of teaching art, she likes to play music, plan events, dance, garden, cook, and do improv comedy. For the last 13 years she has taught Art to all ages, from infants to adults. She teaches a wide breadth of practices and is constantly learning new skills to bring into the classroom. Ruth thinks the studio is a magical place where we can learn about ourselves and each other, and make our learning visible to our community.
