Drama and Movement

Skyler is thrilled to be joining the Collective at Walden, and has just relocated from San Diego where he was the Director of Education for Diversionary Theatre. Originally from Hartford CT, he started studying drama at Emerson College where he earned his BFA in musical theatre, and an MFA from Brooklyn College. For the past 25 years, Skyler’s love of arts education has taken them all over the country, and now is very excited to be returning to the East Bay. Skyler brings a wide variety of experience in acting, dance, puppetry, mime, and circus arts, and can’t wait to get started working with your families. In addition, he was also an actor, and was the on-set acting coach for two P.B.S. shows: Sesame Street and The Electric Company. Skyler is also a therapeutic clown with Healthy Humor, serving chronic and terminally ill children and their families.
